The greatest western ever made is reborn in the form of Blu-Ray.
You have to see to believe the astonishing detail and clarity that the Blu Ray format brings to this all time classic movie.
I watched it on a Sony 37 inch LCD using my PS3 as the player, and my only regret is that I didn't have a bigger TV to bring out more of the visual detail and immerse myself even more into the movie.

A true classic, although in truth it hasn't dated well. Fords examination of the foundations of the west doesn't spare us from the racism and viciousness of Waynes character, although many will find the characterisation of the Indians themselves as being pretty racist. The wide screen photography is gorgeous and it is worth it just to see one of John Waynes best performances.
