A sure thing

20's period piece set in Chicago, tracking the build-up and execution of a fairly elaborate confidence trick involving past-post betting.
Plastic Redford does his best to ruin things, but plot, script, production design, music & class acting more than out-weigh him.
Best bit? Paul Newman baiting Robert Shaw on the train.

This is such a feel good movie. Its really entertaining. Redford and Newman are class together, just bouncing off each other with good old fashioned sharp dialogue. The story is great and if you've never seen it, you're in for a treat.
enjoyable
