4 out of 10 Gratifying
Ciaran from Dublin, 11 May 2007
I expected a slow average drama but I got more than that here. Hopkins is the whole movie and raises the whole game here due to him being an excellent actor. He is very watchable as the old guy who tries and tries to break the world land-speed record on his old 'Indian' motorbike. A real feel good movie that worked for me.

4 out of 10 Inspirational
Rosanna from Roscommon, 20 Jul 2011
Without knowing anything about the film I ordered it based on Anthony Hopkins!. Not dissappointed, a wonderful true story, very cleverly portrayed. Laughter, tears and left you feel good inside and inspired to follow your dreams. Well worth the time to watch. Enjoy

5 out of 10 Outstanding
Rebecca from Dublin, 10 Feb 2009
Not being a motorbike fan I wasn't expecting to enjoy this..but it was brilliant! Fantastic acting from the Great Hopkins. Lovely story full of sadness, joy, disappointment, but overall happiness. Sheer determination and a loveable character can turn the odds

I really enjoyed this movie. Hopkins performance is excellent. The story is light hearted and humerous. I can't say a bad word about this movie. I totally enjoyed if from beginning to end.

What's it about....
The life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a beloved bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.
