2.5 out of 10 Boring and long
Sebastien from Dublin, 19 Mar 2012
The story is not really intriguing. the choice of actors it's questionable (apart from Michael Douglas who for obvious reasons is in it). The female character is inexistent and not developed at all. The young fella is too young and not credible and/or convincing at all. The movie is unnecessarily long and slow while too fast in some key points where stuff could have been explained better in order for the viewers to draw conclusions.

1 out of 10 Awful
Maria from Louth, 21 Mar 2011
I couldn't actually remember the original when I watched this, but I remember that it was good, so I had high expectations. This movie is awful in the sense that it doesn't do itself justice. They could have made it cooler. It has no suspense, and the ending is ridiculous. It also seems like a big lecture on the banking crisis. A bit depressing!

4 out of 10 Fast moving
leona from Dublin, 30 Jan 2011
The film critcics universally gave this the thumbs down but if you're old enough to been around for 'Wall st' then this is a must see, even for Michael Douglas alone and the magnificent shots of NYC. Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) makes a short appearance to add to the glamour.Oliver Stone makes a good shot at remaking the Lehman scenes. I liked it.

3 out of 10 Better than expected
Conor from Cork, 25 Jul 2011
I never saw the original movie, but from reviews that i read the new Wall Street wasnt as good as the old one. But to my surprise i actually found the new version better than i expected it to be! although the last few scenes are a bit crap i did enjoy it overall. it is a very fast moving film but the end is a little too unrealistic for me
