The word Crossword in the trailer put me off!! Crosswords according to this film should be 3 things solveable, hold persons attention/interesting and they should sparkle! Never in my life has a crossword possessed one of these things never mind the 3 things!!! However the film did sparkle. A true Gem, Hope you enjoy it half as much as I did. Best with a glass of cava :-)

I love Sandra Bullock in romantic comedies, but this film did nothing for me, it took me 3 days to look at it. Mary(bullock) is a Crossword compiler and an incessant talker about her job and she just got on my nerves apart from trying to seduce her blind date, two seconds they got in the car. I really tried to watch this, but for me anyway I didn't like it.

I like Sandra Bullock. Now that it's out there... I was hoping that this wouldn't be as bad as the critics say, and to be honest, it wasn't. But not by much. It did have moments and it does have Sandra Bullock but other than that, mediocre at best.

Didn't enjoy this movie. It is not my kind of comedy being a little over the top for me. One or two funny moments but thats all. Was expecting more from a film with Sandra Bullock in it.

It is a bit mad but that is the appeal here that Sandra Bullocks character is off the chart but it kind of works and its an enjoyable movie with quite a few laughs.
