Aplhadog - Boring

This was such a boring movie. I only stuck with it till the end as it was a true story and I wanted to see what actually happened. Had it not been a true story I would have dismissed the characters as being too stupid to be real. Basically a bunch of unlikeable wiggas doss around doing nothing, get involved in a really stupid kidnapping and then it drags on till its inevitable conclusion. Half an hour too long, i couldn't wait for it to end.

Ambiguous

I'm not really sure how to sum up this one. I've read other reviews on this website and they are decidedly mixed, which doesn't surprise me. I had been told, before watching this, that I wouldn't like it so my hopes were low. But it wasn't that bad. Some good scenes and Justin Timberlake isn't as bad as I hoped he'd be. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it but if you've seen most of the other films you could do worse.

Rubbish!

I can't believe the reviews on this over hyped boring teen flick! The only saving grace was the performance from the deranged psycho go who appeared in that Western with Batman and Russel Crowe... you know, the skinny nutter who always shoots people. Brilliant actor. As for the rest, well I did'nt hang around to see if the film actually got going at some stage and switched it off cuz it was sutter ouite!

Disappointing

A very slow start to this movie... basically nothing much happens for the first half hr and you've no idea really where it's actually going. Finally it starts to take off in the middle but by then I was actually too bored to really concentrate - the ending is good and a shocker but kind of reminded me of Dead Man's Shoes (an excellent Brit flick which has a much better storyline and quality of acting!)
Interesting.

Somewhat in the same vein as 'Bully' or 'Kids', this is a grim portrayal of youth in LA. Life consoists of drink, drugs and a complete lack of order but events conspire against some of the lads and things go downhill from there for em. Some good and bad acting from the cast of mostly unknowns but the plot is strong so it's not a bad effort at all.
